Since we struggled last year to find the Christmas spirit, we didn’t decorate. It was just a tough year all the way around. Christmas has always been my favorite holiday and we enjoy making the house look festive. . . so this year we drug out all the decorations and went to town! I especially enjoy nutcrackers, and my mother-in-law, Gwen, spoils me with a new one every year. We usually display them on the mantle over the fireplace but ran out of room. Todd put them on the planter shelf instead and added some green and red rope lights behind them. It turned out really nice. When finished, while surveying our work, I called it our “Winter Wonderland"!
We always make a special place to put my Grama’s nativity set and Todd’s Grandma’s Christmas dolls. While they’re no longer with us, it’s great to have a part of them still here.

So fun. I love that you collect nutcrackers... such a fun tradition. So good to hear about you getting into the "spirit" of Christmas this year, and showing in in your home. Fun.
